Match fit
Sessions
TALA MATCH FIT sessions are offered on a recurring schedule
during the outdoor training season to assist competitive players in preparing for the physical and cognitive demands of their upcoming travel, High school,
or college seasons.
TALA MATCH FIT Sessions are designed for players interested in soccer-specific fitness training in a motivational and encouraging setting. TALA Soccer TRAINING utilizes the SAID Principle (Specific Adaptation to Impose Demands) of evidence-based training activities designed to replicate the game and its kinematic (movement) and kinetic (force) requirements.
TALA MATCH FIT SESSIONS provide players with the environment to increase their soccer-specific fitness levels while reducing the risk of non-contact injury by improving physical capabilities and increasing proper body mechanics with and without the ball. Each Match fit session includes various small-sided games to exercise the cognitive demands of the game under physical load.
-Monthly memberships are available for summer of 2025-
Match Fit Sessions utilize a soccer-specific training methodology to develop the agility, coordination, core strength, change of direction, acceleration, deceleration, repeated sprint ability, explosiveness and increased VO2 max associated with the physical demands of competing in a 90-minute soccer match. TALA Soccer believes in the benefit of fitness training that mimics the physical and cognitive requirements of a competitive match. Each session will allow players to increase their level of fitness, agility, flexibility, neuromuscular sensorimotor control, and strength while improving their technical consistency under the strain of physical demand in a fun and motivational environment that incorporates the ball.

Match Fit Sessions are designed for competitive players ages 12 and up interested in a motivational environment to develop and improve their soccer-specific fitness, agility, coordination, flexibility, and dynamic movement.

Match Fit Sessions aims to provide an environment for players to compete against their personal best in a supportive and motivational environment where effort equals outcome through measured results.

Match Fit training is offered on a recurring set scheduled for a maximum of 22 players per session during the summer months
at our natural grass outdoor training facility.

"I used to be so focused on winning, I had a really hard time enjoying soccer. If I missed a shot, I would spend a lot of time thinking about how I'd disappointed my teammates. Then I learned how moments of struggle make you stronger."
